History of Patleidhof

The Oberhofer family, from an old Tyrolean lineage, has been farming on the mountain farm since 1954.
In 1572, the family received their coat of arms from Archduke Ferdinand for special services.

...since the time of the great-grandparents

The great-grandparents and the current grandparents, Johann and Martha, have earned their merits by rebuilding the farm, which dates back to 1314 , has frequently changed owners, and was often run down, from scratch.

...for three decades

For three decades, the family has been offering vacations on the farm in addition to farming. Since 1989, our farm has been accessible by road. The quickest way to reach us is by the Untersteller cable car, which is a 15-minute walk from here. In 2014, the farm was handed over to the young farmer Roman, who continues to run the farm with his family with joy.
